JJLPROJECT’s Green Ocean in support of EXO can be seen at 1:30 ;~;
the green ocean for exo (organised by jjlproject) at the mbc korean culture festival in london 2012~!
this is linda (baixian) writing on behalf of everybody in JJLPROJECT! the very first thing i’d like to say is: THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART IN THE GREEN OCEAN O M G I’M STILL SHAKING. also a huge shout-out to everybody who talked to us, supported us, helped us (especially when we were stressed and exhausted), and xuan and lisa for being the best glowstick givers out there (we couldn’t have done it without you two at all, you lovelies - thank you for dealing with insane antis too). it was a complete success: there were rows of green across the blocks downstairs, all being waved to the beat, and we have reports of the balcony upstairs being filled with green. it was beautiful and the boys were so, so happy. if you took photos/fancams of the green ocean, please link us at @jjlproject on twitter!
just a quick note: please don’t take anything out of this fanaccount without crediting JJLPROJECT. thank you!
JJLPROJECT will be officially livetweeting updates for MBC K-pop and Korean Cultural Festival! We are also organising a green glowstick ocean project for EXO-K’s appearance at the festival, and we’ll be distributing glowsticks free to all fans attending. Please follow @jjlproject on Twitter for updates and info!
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: This is a chance for people to showcase their MBC K-Pop and Korean Culture (120623) concert outfits to Coordinuna readers. With permission, these photos will be taken after the interviews and before the concert starts (please note these interviews will be taking place while people are queuing to go inside the venue).
On behalf of JJLProject, I will be putting together an article for Korean fashion website Coordinuna. This article will not only include a review of the MBC K-Pop and Korean Culture concert, but also various interviews with attendees before and after the concert. These interviews will display the attendees’ views on how they became interested in Korean music and the culture, what performances they are most looking forward to as well as what the highlight of the night was for them. To make this article and interview extra special, there will also be a chance for interviewees to have their photo taken of their concert outfit and they will be asked a few questions about their outfit too.
An interview with me does sound scary but I assure you this experience will be fun! Don’t think of it as an interview, more like a conversation. Share your experiences and stories of K-Pop music and how you got into the Korean culture and more with me and the Coordinuna readers.
Coordinuna is known to be a website that brings you the latest fashion trends in Korea as well as updating their audience with links to where they can purchase certain items of clothing or accessories that their favourite K-Pop star has worn! So to keep with the fashion theme, I will also be looking out for people who are wearing unique/awesome outfits to the concert! Photos will be taken and questions about these outfits will be asked to.
This is all for fun, so please don’t be shy!
If you would like to take part or have any questions, you can contact me via my twitter @julezykins or my tumblr – youmeandyellow.tumblr.com or look out for me on the day; I will be wearing a JJLProject t-shirt as well as a Coordinuna badge!
Also, please pass around this notice so that people who may be interested doesn’t miss out on this opportunity. Thank you and I look forward to meeting some of you at the concert.
We are very glad to announce that we officially hit our target donation a couple of days ago, and JJLPROJECT’s lightstick project should be going ahead! As said in the previous press release, we are now going to share details of how these glowsticks will be distributed:
The glowsticks will be distributed in twos. We will be at the O2 very early in the morning to begin giving out glowsticks. As the queue builds up, we will work our way down. If you can’t find us, tweet us your location on @jjlproject and we’ll find you.
FOR DONORS: we will be bringing a list of people who have donated. If you donated, when you see us, alert us! Tell us your name and we’ll give you an extra glowstick.
Finally, please follow the instructions below. We are going to repeat them to you all on the day, and give out flyers with the instructions on them - however these instructions are crucial in making the project work so it’d be brilliant if we all cooperated!
IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT ACTIVATE YOUR GLOWSTICKS UNTIL YOU ARE INSIDE AND SITTING DOWN IN THE INDIGO2 VENUE.
1) The glowsticks will not glow until you ‘activate’ them. To do this, bend them gently until they ‘crack’ along the entire length of the stick. Then shake them.
2) Please do not activate the glowsticks until you are inside and sitting down in the venue. The glowsticks have a time limit of around 8 hours, so we want them to be as bright as possible for EXO-K’s appearance.
3) When the concert starts, hide your glowsticks/do not let them be visible. We want to make sure that EXO-K know the sea is for them. As soon as EXO-K are onstage, we want everybody to have activated their glowsticks. Hold up and WAVE your glowsticks TO THE BEAT OF THE SONG and get everybody around you to wave their glowsticks too. This is crucial so that we can create the united ‘green sea’.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to come over and ask us. JJLPROJECT will be taking photos of this event so let’s work to make it happen. Good luck to everyone and have fun at the concert!
Thank you again for your support and effort! Remember to follow @jjlproject on twitter and jjlproject on tumblr for live updates. Let’s make this project successful for our six boys!
